@kangel: i do know what he is doing...he is getting extra pocket money for the great gaming companies while delivering a device capable of higher graphics and also capable of different entretainment than videogames apart of the new game catalog that is coming...

@MecanicalCH: Except for the fact that by compering technical information the PS4 is far more powerfull then the Xbox one and still has more high quality games lined up for then the flood of games that Microsoft released which more then half was for the Xbox 360, Which has recived a new model and will be supported for 5 more years despite a new console. Out of the 15 supposed exclusives they said they had only 5 or 6 games were actual exclusives for the Xbox one and the rest was either for the 360 or was multiplatform. Let's also add on the price tag of a Xbox one being $499 dollars over in the US and €499 euros over in Europe plus any tax in the area for those sort of things and you have a hefty price tag. Also they were pushing the fact that you can now upload directly from a console and Stream with Twitch which is a decent service but this was in response to the PS4. Also they were trying to hammer in the fact that Smart glass devices is the way to go.
So in all fairness Sony and Nintendo got their shit together and presented a bit fewer games but games of a better quality and brand new IPs and a overall better constructed press conference then Microsoft's attempt at damage control.

This was the one place I thought I was safe from this topic. This constant bashing is perhaps the one thing that killed all the hype for new gen games and consoles. I actually have no problem with either console. In all honesty people should just get over it, buy the one they want then be happy and play videogames. Yep.

@Eternalstorm Blade: agreed Xbox one has its flaws but you gotta admit that the Ps4 has or will have its flaws...i lost interest in Playstation since the ps2 "fat" since it broke 8 times...and the ps2 "slim" broke 3 more times...T.T the consoles were not that easy to pay since they were way too expensive...and the tech support was useless since you had to sent the console to the U.S.A...so i never brought the Ps3...and the Ps4 has made me intrigued...but still i want to be sure it wont be another Ps2...
@JayVeeEmmVIII:agreed! i too are so tired of fan boy/fan girls of each console... i think everyone has a taste and should be respected...i go for xbox one so far but if Ps4 turns not being like my old Ps2 then "maybe" (mostly sure) i would buy it along side the xbox one and the wii u...i am a gamer i love games after all!

@MecanicalCH: Thaaaankyou! Im not alone on this freaking topic. I constantly get shut down for being in the middle ground with these consoles. I also go for Xbox I have been with them since the start but have dabbled with Playstation. I prefer alot of the Xbox features but think Playstation has held it own for obvious reasons as well. As for E3 I was floored by all the presentations, no one disappointed but then again that's an opinion from one gamer. I plan on getting both thankfully I've been saving for them, so I'll be happy. C:

@MecanicalCH: I think it was more user error than the fault of the PS2, as my second one is still functioning perfectly. The first one had irreparable damage dealt to it, unfortunately.

The problem alot of people are finding with the Xbox one can derived from two things. The drm that forces you to connect every 24 hours on your own console and every hour on a friends console and admitably from my knowledge not every one in the us have a broadband connection. The second problem people have is how they handle the trading of games between friends for the xbox one, i mean to trade with some you have to have them on your xbox friendlist for 30 days and then when you trade you lose that game forever.
Also to my knowledge isn't cloud saving a gold membership benefit?

I love how much you people can write about this.
Fact: If it forces you to connect to the Internet more than just once, it seems very restrictive to me. There are times when my Internet cuts out, so I pass the time by playing video games. Good old SNES.
But really, I prefer gaming on my Debian system (a GNU/Linux distribution), since it's highly customizable and doesn't tell me how, when, or why to play my games.
As long as games have cross-platform support and people on different operating systems and consoles may play together, everyone can choose their favourite and be happy with it.

You cannot share a game without paying an extra fee, you must constantly have your internet-connection running and the kinect camera is an actual camera, not just a censor.
I'm not into the war and I wouldn't shame on people for being on the xbox side, or both (I've only invested in Playstations), but I don't think it's fair to abuse ones costumers like so (which is why I in this case is "against" the Xbox One). @JayVeeEmmVIII: It's less about console wars, and more on actually being angry about what Microsoft did. A lot of Xbox fans really hate the route the XBox1 went. They feel betrayed and aggravated. If you have heard of the so-called features they've implemented, the people have very good reason to be mad and disappointed. No one is stopping anyone from buying it or liking it, but those who are mad have every reason to be.
