So many things went over my head when I was a wee young innocent.
On the topic of childhood shows, SMTV Live to watch because that show was amazing.

(London Expo is this weekend, if you are going let us awkwardly greet one another and maintain eye contact every so slightly too long and finish off with a nervous giggle. I'll be at table M8)

I've been to the Expo a couple times in the past. It's a good time. I'd drop in and say hello if I could, but... well, I can't lol

Have fun! :D

Rocko's Modern Life and the Animaniacs and plenty other series of the 90's and 00's are full of those jokes. Fun for the whole family and making those moments where your parents are laughing about a quip you don't yet understand.

Oh man, so many shows from my youth. Let's see, Big comfy Couch, Megaman, Bearenstein bears, Sonic the Hedgehog, Thomas, TMNT and Miss Spider, just to name a few.

@kangel: This reminds me of that part in Cars where McQueen says "Piston Cup" and Mater says "He did WHAT in his cup?". It went right over my head when I watched that when I was smaller. I get it now...they seem to do that type of thing a lot...I guess it's to add some adult humor for parents watching the movies/shows?

@kangel: That's how I felt after I watched the first episode of Dragon ball after becoming an adult(I think Dragon ball is the reason why censorship now is so strict in Japan).

@StygianKnight: Exactly my opinion there's some really adult jokes in children movies children aren't supposed to get so it must be directed to parents forced to watch.

It was the same when I was little. I picked up on it way too early. *repressed trauma face, thousand yard stare*
