For a change of pace here is a cute comic based on a doodle I did one night before bed :¬)

Oh, one more thing! I'll be updating comics twice a week now on Tuesdays and Saturdays (and maybe more sometimes). Read one week ahead here :)
Thanks for reading :)

EDIT: Since posting this comic I have been made aware of the similarities between it and another comic. Yes, they are very similar. No, this isn't a rip off. If you'd like further explanation please refer to this post here. Thank you.

While it's the same sort of idea (fire/water/opposites trying to be together) as Hold Close but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's a rip off, that's just incorrect and rude.

I think it's lovely c:

What really happened:
Raindrop became steam and Flame died.

PS: About the plagiarism thing, check out the comments and author comment on Hold Close, the person that created that also has a comment saying it has nothing to do with some video called Alight. It's just a popular theme to work with.

It´s ok! Every idea comes from something somebody has seen before. All of us have seen the water-fire-steam-thing in nature. It is quite normal, that 2 or even more people that don´t know anything of each other have similar ideas born from such a natural subject. Even if the ideas are close, it doesn´t mean, it´s stolen. Really, in this case, it is rude to say it´s a rip off. Every professional (I am a designer) can see that.

I think its awesome and people must stop commenting rubbish. just appreciate it and stop complaining.

It's not like you took "Hold Close" and called it your own, it's original artwork, not a ripoff.

Why does ninjas need so many onions? Ok, so a fireman is like cupid, but in uniform?

It's okay, I shall never believe you plagiarised (is that the right way to say it? Guess so) I shall always be on your side. Unless you're fighting a kitten. I always take the sides of kittens

"copying ideas" I'm new to this comic (it's great!) so I'm reading the earlier comics and saw the comments on this one. I just want to say that, while there ARE people out there who DO rip off ideas from other artists, there are SO MANY MORE who happen to come up with similar ideas on their own and it's getting old seeing great artists get torn apart for something they didn't do. News flash: While there are limitless ideas for art, there are also many common ideas. It's impossible for an artist to not "copy" someone else's ideas at least from time to time without knowing it, unless they somehow have EVERY SINGLE COMIC in existence memorized and cataloged in their mind. Something that triggers an idea in a person is just as likely to trigger the same idea in another person. Why do people feel the need to accuse every artist of plagiarism for having a (common) idea? Ugh. Okay, sorry. Rant over. I just see so many comics with comments attacking the artist about crap like this. It's hard enough being an artist and having your work put out there for people to judge WITHOUT worrying about accusations. I love your comic and am SO happy I found it! <3
