I find it really hard to draw when I'm depressed so just bear with me for possible slow updates.

I realise it looks kind of like I'm dead. It's not supposed to, just sad. Either way you get the same 'cats are apathetic, they wouldn't pee on you even if you were burning' kind of result. It's up to you, I can be dead in it if you want (that's weird though and scares me a bit... what did I do?)

I was once ill and throwing up in the toilet and Blake came and sat on my back. I was too weak to bother too much and it was funny and sort of heart breaking at the same time. Why heart breaking? That was the moment I truly understood my place in the hierarchy of the household (imagine if you read this last paragraph out of context and didn't know I was talking about a cat named Blake).
Gonna stop ranting now.
G'night.

"Bear with me" is actually the proper usage. I know it looks strange, kind of like when you "whale on" someone. I always want to spell it "wail," since the other way makes me picture a large, aquatic mammal. English, man.

Anyway, I'm sorry to hear you've been sad. Cats can be understanding, I think it just... depends on how much you're crying. My cat will panic and meow because she gets that something is up, but she doesn't really know what to do. I have had the animals cuddling while you're puking thing, though. You're just there for their use, after all. Haha.

Hope you feel better, though. :(

@otakulys: ooooh yeah. Oops, Haha thanks for the heads up :D
Haha, yeah, my cat is actually really affectionate. My dog panics when someone's upset.

I know the feeling. When I'm depressed, I feel like I'm dead inside and act accordingly.

Usually what I do to cheer me up is listen to music, something melancholy and emotional. Try listening to this, it's my favorite thing to listen to when I'm like that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSR88gSoyt4

Hope it works for you and I hope you get better soon.

EDIT: On a side note, cats are usually indifferent about their human slaves' feelings. On one hand, they enjoy seeing us suffer. On the other hand, we might forget to feed them in our sadness.

Ah yes... DEPRESSION... It's nice to have perscription med to make things easier...

And when THAT doesn't work, it turns into heavily suppressed anger telling me to break things and punch through walls the moment Amam starts talking~!

just gotta have a calender laying about if you slip up... and bandages.

excuse me as I go pass out now...

I can relate to this image and your sentiments on so many levels. I know it's not just a matter of "getting better" but I hope that you have some happy things to comfort you right now.

My cat just comes over and lies down right next to me and puts a paw on whichever part of my body is closest
a picture I took a while ago which is very much related http://prntscr.com/1fhert

I Understand Whenever I'm sick and laying on the ground (or even half-sitting half-laying) my cat comes along and starts eating my hair and biting my skull. I think it's trying to reach my brain 0-0

Cat Compassion Last summer I was super sad because a life changing thing (somewhat good in the long run but super terrible at the moment) happened and at the same time I experienced my first break up.
I was doing weird things to cope with all the sad like hanging upside down on my brother's exercise bar thing when the cats all started meowing at me. This was weird because they've been so spoiled with attention that we have to beg them to let us pet them and cuddle and stuff.
When I was right side up again and lying on the floor (a lot like you are in the comic lol) the alpha cat started butting his head on my hand, and then they all wanted to be cuddled and petted.
Think this is a cat version of hugs and kisses since they sensed that I wasn't okay and they knew I liked doing those things. IDK, that's just me.

I try to think of it less like the hierarchy of the cat chain and more like they want to show that they do actually care.
It's harder for them to show you that they are there for you because they don't have thumbs and can't speak English.
