I like learning about art but sometimes I think people push it a bit. Same happens with literature.
I don't know, maybe he was sad because he had no red paint ... who knows ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Huh. I wonder if this guy painted all in red when he was angry? Or with yellow when he was happy?

I also wonder what color he used to paint with when he was feelin' sexy? Hot pink, maybe?

Reply Scar, 28 Nov 2012 11:47 pm

Nah for sexy he probably used the color of the fox above you on the avi.

Reply kangel, 28 Nov 2012 11:51 pm

@ShinyHoundoom229: When he was feeling sexy the colour didn't matter to him, he just painted naked. Just covered himself in paint and rolled around on canvases.

this actually happened to me once. we had to write monologues from the point of view of characters from a book we had read in class. I preformed mine, and the teacher goes "that was wonderful, you kept referencing water, because her husband drowned! oh, you certain have a deep knowledge of the book" I had actually never read the book and had no idea that this chicks husband drowned, I just liked how poetic it sounded with references to water in it.

*a piece from [t]he artist's~

Apparently that is the exact reason why the Smurfs are blue. Apparently that artist was going through a blue period too.

Reply calimica, 29 Nov 2012 02:37 pm

haha. I love that concept.

@orangensaft: Kesha is really weird. She was just on the radio in an interview and I learned she has a necklace with her placenta in it :'I
@The_mad_one: Whoops, changed now :) Thanks.

Lol, the whole thing about red paint made me think of a funny(?) norwegian animation that was really popular at my school some time ago.

It's called rødmaling and it's made by lasse gjertsen

You realize Pablo Picasso's blue period was in the 1900's right?

Reply kangel, 03 Dec 2012 11:14 pm

@Higby: the artist isn't meant to be anyone in particular :)

Reply Higby, 04 Dec 2012 03:02 am

@kangel: Well. . . the "blue period" thing was introduced by him. I do appreciate the gag though.
