True story D: This comic features one of my brothers who has never read a full book in his life (and is proud of the fact). I couldn't think of anything to say.

I prefer reading books because movies always cut stuff out and sometimes they cut out important parts. (In other words: He gave his opinion so you should give yours)

Movies are nothing compared to imagination~

You should've replied:
"Explain Twilight"

No offense to you, but your brother SUUUCCCKKKSS. D:<
Pat15 has a very good point.

Not cool dude.

Dude, sorry but that statement is so grossly inaccurate, I don't know where to start.
First, movies based on books are 95% of the time largely inferior to their source material.
Second, I have read TONS of amazing books that have yet to be (and I hope never)adapted into film. Movie companies don't really make movies because the book is worthwhile, more they base their choices on the popularity of it.
Plus, even if the movie turns out to be decent, the characters that you construct with your imagination usually are better and more accurate than their movie counterpart.

How many siblings do you have, anyway?

And totally agree with Pat15 :P
kangel July 31st, 2012, 4:35 pm
@Sol: one sister and two brothers :)
@pat15: Hahaha! :D

@kangel: I love books! Life would be boring without them x.x
HoratioTheChorizo (Guest) December 9th, 2012, 8:00 pm
Aw come on! You could've told him that a book is better because your imagination has unlimited budget unlike a movie and you can direct it the way you think is the best :) I love your sillyness

FEAR Is that Fear by Michael Grant from the Gone series?

I think that's Fear by Michael Grant from the Gone series.

Eeeeeh, movies ruin books! Fact, proven since the first movie adapted a book.
You gotta do something about that opinion of his!
Zitronenbaum May 30th, 2013, 1:34 pm
I'm always weirded out about how some movies that were adapted from books DUMB DOWN the plot. Did you ever see Krabat? What the hell was wrong with the people who made the movie? alsdhfajsdfhawepruihd *pissed off* D:<

LIES ALL OF IT just where is my Pendragon movie then hmmm where is that. I kinda hate people like this movies often times ruin book's three examples Inkheart, Series of Unfortunate Event's, Eragon, Percy Jackson and the Olympians BOTH MOVIES... Etc ok more than three there are more bad book to movie adaptations then there are good adaptations
Symba Leijon (Guest) February 18th, 2014, 11:09 pm
@patchestheshark: EXACTLY.

I've read all of those and seen all but the new PJATO movie. And all were good book wise. All were awful movie wise.

Eragon was the worst offender. (Where the hell is Solembum, I ask of you? Oh, wait did I hear a "Who's that?"? ONLY the coolest damn character in the ENTIRE QUADRILOGY.)
Amake (Guest) May 21st, 2014, 10:45 am
Everything changes when we read To quote Neil Gaiman. It's really the only thing I have to say to people who won't read and act like that's a good thing. Everything changes. What does that even mean? It means what it says. Everything means everything. It's all I can explain for you. You have to see for yourself if you want to know.

@kangel: How many siblings do you have? :0 At first I thought you only had a younger brother, but then I remembered you also have a (younger?) sister, and now you also have another bro?? :0
WiispNightmare February 27th, 2016, 7:42 am
If he were right, there would not be an internet.
People would just write stupid books so that they would be made into movies because the directors have no taste in books.
jkhero73 April 25th, 2016, 1:42 pm
I need to read more.
SilverNinetales May 29th, 2016, 9:39 pm
The only current book-to-movie adaptions (like 2012-16) are distopian crap.
We've already seen The Hunger Games.
We've already seen The Maze Runner.
We've already seen The Fifth Wave.
I don't care anymore.
Flamelight7 May 30th, 2016, 7:24 pm
@SilverNinetales: A few months ago I had a horrible realization. Every book I had read for a whole year was dystopian. I don't even like dystopian.
